Question #2 - Does Facilities have StorageCloset? Office for Supervisor? Answer #2 - A Housekeeping closet is available, but no office for supervisor(note) when supervisor is on site the manager should be able to provide a cubicle or a space for them to work for a couple of hours. Question #3 - Toilet Tissue Standard Roll Tissue? Juunior Jumbo Tissue? Coreless Tissue? Answer #3 - Provided by the VA Question #4 - Towels white or Brown?Multi Fold? C Fold? Roll Toels? Answer #4 - Provided by the VA Question #5 - Can you provide the sizes of can liners currently in use? are they clear or Black? Answer #5 - Liners provided by the VA (black) Question #6 - Hand Soap What are the brand currently in use? Answer #6 - Provided by the VA Purell Question #7 Are the Cabinets push style? What Brand? Answer #7 - If you are referring to the cleaning cart, I believe Rubbermaid Question #8 - Does Working have Parking on the Facilities? Answer #8 - Yes Question #9 In Section 1.4 (a) states that M-F - one shift 8:00AM - 4:30PM, and my question is, does this contract require janitorial supervisor/staff to be on-site from 8am-4:30PM? Answer #9 Yes, the contractor must be onsite continuously during the time indicated above. Question #10 Is there an incumbent Answer #10 Yes, the incumbent is Lockett Enterprises. Question #11 What is the annual value of the current contract? Answer #11 The annual value of the current contract is roughly $52,000.00 Question #12 - Does this contract require a contractor employee to obtain a PIV card? Answer #`12 Yes, the fingerprinting station is the Main facility Columbus Ohio VA Question #13 - During the Interim period, solicitation states that a visitor badge will be issued after background investigation at a VA police and HR Dept. How long will the background investigation take and are you able to provide a location? if it is different from the place of performance. Answer #13 - The background check takes a couple of weeks , a visitor badge will be issued by the manager , background check will be done by VA Question #14 - The solicitation indicates that the daily, weekly, monthly tasks are to be completed within the normal working hours, and I'd like to ask if there is an ideal work start time VHA would like to suggest considering factors to avoid interruption of CBOC daily operations. Answer #14 - Most work is done during normal visiting hours except carpet cleaning and stripping and waxing. Question #15 - Section 5 Specific Tasks states that Floors must be cleaned after 4:30pm. Is there a designated time frame allowed for floor care cleaning or average of time it normally takes to conduct this service? Also, specifically which floor area is to be cleaned after hours? Lobby hallway floors only?  Answer #15 The manager of this facility is currently out of office, but to my knowledge maintaining the floors is during work hours, unless stripping and waxing of the floors. Question #16 - Restrooms cleaned twice per day. Is this requirement for all restrooms in the facility meaning patient rooms as well? Could you be more specific with the daily after hour restroom cleaning and floor care maintenance. Is this requirement for every restroom and 6540 sqft of VCT? Answer # 16 - Minimum is twice per day and as needed throughout the day Question #17 - Terminal Cleaning, I didn t see anywhere with in the performance work statement that discuss personal protective equipment (PPE) required during Terminal Cleaning services. (Gloves, Face Shield, Tyvek Suit). Will the government provide such PPE for the service or is this provided by the contractor if they want their employees to wear PPE during the Terminal Cleaning?  Answer #17 - VA will provide PPE for terminal cleaning Question #18 - Section 5.5.1 Contractor Qualification #3 After normal duty hours, the supervisor shall be available within 2 hours. Is this recall status 24/7 or does the after hour 2 hour recall status secures at 10:00pm? Approximately how often is the after hour 2 hour recall status used throughout the year? Answer #18 - The VA will excess the issue and then determine who is needed , yes a 2 HR turn around would be required , this may have occurred once or twice if that since the VA has occupied the space, which has been 20 some add years. Question #19 - Daily / Weekly Floor Buffing approximately how much time after hours is allotted for floor care service? Daily services after hours and weekly floor buffing after hours? Answer # 19 - This has always been done during working hour s , the only time after hours would be for stripping ang waxing or carpet cleaning , and arranged by Manager and subcontractor Question #20 - Federal Holiday Recognition Section 1.4 (b) Will Juneteenth be added into the contract as a Federal Holiday? Answer #20 - Yes
