It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will NOT receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The Chalmers P. Wiley Ambulatory Care Center (VA ACC) located at 420 N James Rd, Columbus, OH 43219 has a requirement for a contractor to provide Annual Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Fuel Testing for a Caterpillar Emergency Generator, model# 3516B, in accordance with manufacturer s recommendation and NFPA 70, 99, and 110. Work to include, but not limited, replacement of engine oil filters, fuel filters, element fuel, seal, seal O-ring, gasket, oil and sample of old oil and coolant. Also, Annual #2 diesel fuel testing in accordance with American Society for Testing Material (ASTM) D-975. All work shall be performed by Fully Qualified and competent field service technician(s). Fully qualified technician(s) is/are trained and has/have experience working on Caterpillar Generators. The NAICS Code is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business size standard of $8 million. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement. In response, please provide, at a minimum, the following information: - Company name and address, - POC information, - Duns and Bradstreet number, - Socioeconomic category (SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, 8a, Small Business or Large Business). - Additionally, please provide a GSA contract number if these services are offered on Federal Supply Schedule.
