This is a Sources Sought Notice for Generator Testing and Preventive Maintenance Services for the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, management, management support, transportation, supplies, equipment and materials necessary to furnish the following services. The services required are provided below and subject to changes should a solicitation be issued as a result of this notice. Annual load bank testing, including preventive maintenance (PM) at no additional cost, of nine (9) Generators. PM shall include Load Testing for all models except Model #3512C*, which is too large for load testing. PM procedures shall be in accordance with the published PM manuals for the equipment: 315KW Caterpillar 3406 Industrial Engine S/N 90U440-UP 500KW Detroit Diesel Series 92 S/N 360164, Model# 500DS60 900KW Detroit Diesel Series 149 S/N 358177, Model# 900DS60 750KW Caterpillar #1 S/N 9EN00523, Model# 3508 750KW Caterpillar #2 S/N 9EN00524, Model# 3508 750KW Caterpillar #3 S/N 9EN00526, Model# 3508 750KW Caterpillar #4 S/N 9EN00525, Model# 3508 750KW Caterpillar #5 S/N 9EN00528, Model# 3508 1500KW Caterpillar #6 S/N G6T00105, Model# 3512C* All work shall comply with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications. The contractor shall furnish a temporary generator as needed on a separate rental agreement and the temporary generator shall be furnished within a reasonable amount of time depending on the availability of units. Please respond if you have the ability and intent to complete this requirement. This Sources Sought Notice is intended to locate any business capable of performance. The anticipated NAICS Code for this requirement is 811310. This is not a Request for Quotation and quotes shall not be reviewed at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the contractor as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to any particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
