Page 3 of 3 This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement to inform potential offerors of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to advertise for bids the project entitled Upgrade Restrooms Project 506-20-210 to be accomplished at the VA Ann Arbor Medical Center, Ann Arbor, MI. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is planned to be issued on or about July 28, 2021. The project s general scope of work is to furnish all tools, equipment, material, permits, labor, supervision, and all other necessary resources to accomplish the following work: Renovations to the existing restrooms and adjacent spaces in Building 1E and Building 1W and Building 28 at the VA Ann Arbor Medical Center. The renovations will result in new plumbing, fixtures and interior finishes, fixtures, and equipment. The project will be completed in phases and the total area of work is 2,183 square feet. Work is scheduled to be performed during the normal daytime business hours of the medical center excluding federal holidays. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. Magnitude of cost for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from bid opening date. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Only offers from verified SDVOSBs registered in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database (https://vetbiz.va.gov) at the time of proposal submission are eligible for consideration. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers.
