This project would build out existing shell space to consolidate all Health Technology Services(HTS)/Biomed storage and staff into one location. The goal of this project is to improve the HTS/Biomed service s workflow. The scope of this project also includes the addition of an electronics shop & storage space for Environmental Management Systems (EMS) equipment. In addition, this project will allow the for vacated HTS/Biomed storage space to be utilized for Veterans Canteen Services (VCS) storage & vacated HTS/Biomed space in the Engineering building to be utilized by other engineering employees. The project will take place at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC) located, in Columbus, OH. All employees of general contractor and subcontractors shall comply with VA security management program and obtain permission of the VA police, be identified by project and employer, and restricted from unauthorized access. SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. All bidders MUST be registered and verified in the following websites: https://sam.gov and https://vetbiz.va.gov to be eligible for award. Bidders MUST ensure registration in these websites are accurate, complete and have not expired prior to bid opening date. Project magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The NAICS code is 236220 and the business size standard is $39.5 million. SDVOSB self-performance must be in accordance with 13 CFR § 125.6, and VAAR 852.219-10(d)(4) Duration of the project shall not exceed 240 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). BONDS in form of Bid, Payment and Performance will be required. SITE VISIT: a one-time only site visit will be scheduled and that information will be in the solicitation package. The solicitation documents will be posted at https://sam.gov on or about July 9, 2021 with bid opening approximately 30 days later. Dissemination of the solicitation, specifications and drawings is limited to electronic medium.
