This document serves as notification of the upcoming solicitation for the Veterans Administration minor construction project #610-21-214 Update Utilities, Building 49, located at: The Northern Indiana Health Care System 1700 E 38th Street Marion, IN 46953 Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to replace the following: Exhaust fans throughout. Existing water heater. Existing light fixtures on the first and second floor with new LED lay-in fixtures. Receptacles and data outlets throughout. Electrical panel in lower level. Existing restrooms on the lower level, first floor, and second floor with new plumbing fixtures and finishes. Portions of fire protection system in the lower level and second floor. Existing fire protection system on the first floor. Existing fire protection system compressor. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable laws, codes, and regulations. This project will be 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction - addition, alteration, and renovation, with a standard size of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project will be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The VA will issue an RFP or IFB on or about May 21, 2021, via FEDBIZOPPS.gov.
