SCOPE AND WORK REQUIRED Furnish all necessary labor, tools, miscellaneous materials, equipment, and supervision as specified in drawings and specifications to complete the 506-20-204 Modernize Hospital Finishes Project at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The project consists of the renovation and modernization of hospital finishes in the main corridors of Building 1E and Building 1W. The renovations will result in new flooring, wall finishes, handrails, wayfinding elements and selective ceiling replacement. The project will be completed in phases and the total area of work is 4,793 square feet. All work performed shall be fully documented by the Contractor. Construction shall be performed incompliance with manufacturer s recommendations and all applicable Codes, City of Ann Arbor codes, and VAMC Ann Arbor. Perform all work without disruption to Medical Center operations. Normal administrative hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday (Excluding Federal Holidays). Normal working hours shall be between 6:00PM 5:30 AM Monday - Sunday. Authorization to work other than normal working hours will be requested in advance for evaluation and approval by the COR and Contracting. All construction areas to be open for normal business hours. Provide all construction and safety barriers, temporary dust partitions, as required by VAMC Ann Arbor. Construction areas to be cleaned before opening each day. Provide walk off mats into building if required. Contractor to provide own dumpsters. Provide submittals and shop drawings to COR for approvals.
