Page 2 of 2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 583-20-102 Relocate Nuclear Medicine: It is the intention of the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center to solicit bids for the following: The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary to accomplish all work set forth in the contract specifications and drawings. Work shall include: General construction, alterations, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, fire alarm system, sprinkler system, specialty systems, controls, necessary removal of existing structures, and construction of certain other items. All items being removed are to be disposed of by the contractor. All above work to be done in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. with a standard size of $39.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 9 April 2021 via https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp . A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
