PRIMARY TASK GENERAL: Remove loose plaster and make necessary cosmetic repairs. Paint ceilings Alabaster Eggshell (low VOC paint). Apply 2 coats of Eggshell paint (low VOC paint) to stairwell walls (color TBD). Paint stairwell doors and frames with a low VOC paint, color TBD. Paint an accent wall on each level of the stairwell with a low VOC paint, color TBD. Work to be done during normal business hours. Work will be done in one stairwell at a time. Contractor shall be responsible for a site visit to verify site conditions and to determine the type of equipment and number of personnel required to complete the job in the time framed specified by the VA. The above construction Statement of Work (SOW) constitutes a basic outline of work and in no way outlines all details for the construction of this project. It is recommended that a detailed inspection of the premises, drawings and specifications be initiated to determine the needs and conditions for the construction of this project. The magnitude of construction project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Location of the work: All work to be performed, according to the drawings and specifications, at the Northern Indiana Health Care Systems Fort Wayne Campus, 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805. Tentative dates for issuing invitations, opening bids, and completing contract performance; The Invitation for Bids (IFB) should be posted on/about 03/24/2021 and the Bid Opening should be within 30-45 days thereafter. After award, Contractor will have 10 weeks from the receipt of Notice to Proceed to complete all work, to include checklist items, controls installation and configuration, testing and balancing, painting, site cleanup and equipment disposal, etc. Plans will be available for inspection without charge: The specification and drawings will be available with the IFB when released. Date by which requests for the invitation for bids should be submitted: Requests for the IFBs should be submitted on/before 03/24/2021 at 11:00 A.M. EST.
