This is a Sources Sought Notice for Window Cleaning and Power Washing Services for the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, management, management support, transportation, supplies, equipment and materials necessary to furnish the following services. The services required are provided below and subject to changes should a solicitation be issued as a result of this notice. Once annually, all windows in buildings, trailers, and parking structures shall be thoroughly cleaned on the interior and exterior surfaces, which includes, but is not limited to, window frames, glazing, sills and screens. Surfaces shall be clean and free of films, smudges, foreign matter, streaks, and stains. Windows shall be wiped dry. There are approximately 5,850 windows comprising a total of 51,750 square feet of surface area on each side of the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center campus. At the six (6)-month interval from the initial cleaning listed above, thorough exterior-only window cleaning of all windows, and building exterior power washing, are required. All exterior window run-off shall be removed to prevent staining on lower windows and walls. Cleaning shall include removal of all dirt, dust, bugs, bird droppings, spider webs, nests and staining. Power washing of the building exterior shall be up to the bottom of the first row of windows in the courtyard of the auditorium and memorial brick pathway, as well as the exterior of the building directly above the warehouse loading dock, including the support pillars. This Sources Sought Notice is intended to locate any business capable of performance. The anticipated NAICS Code for this requirement is 561720. This is not a Request for Quotation and quotes shall not be reviewed at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the contractor as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to any particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
