This warranty is needed to maintain the fleet of 74 Capsa carts which are used by the Nursing staff to administer medications to the veterans and they are used as a tool for documentation. Having this warranty ensures that Capsa will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of said carts thereby ensuring that the staff will have an adequate supply of medication carts to perform their duties. This acquisition is planned to be issued as a single-source contract under the authority referenced at FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Please see attached for additional information.
