There is not a solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This SS does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. In accordance with FAR Part 10, the purpose of this SS is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for a Firm Fixed-Priced, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for Homeless Veteran treatment and rehabilitation services for the VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems. Period of Performance: five (5) one-year ordering periods. Summation of Required Services: The VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems (VANIHCS) has a requirement for a community-based residential care center for homeless veterans. Contractor(s) shall provide Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Treatment and Rehabilitative Services for up to ten (10) homeless veterans with mental illness and/or substance use disorders in a residential care center located within a 12 mile radius from the St. Joseph County CBOC (located at 1540 Trinity Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545). The daily occupancy rate at the ten (10) bed facility may fluctuate dependent upon rate of demand for service. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting market research to determine if there are responsible sources available to satisfy this requirement, identify the business size of available sources, and to determine if there are a sufficient number of Small Business concerns capable of performing the requirements to warrant a set-aside. Contractor shall also comply with any other federal, state, and local laws applicable to the industry. Potential sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge of required services and capability to provide such services.
