Posting Date: July 8, 2020 Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Agency/Office: Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 Title: Laundry Equipment Preventative Maintenance Service Classification Code: J072 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment Household and Commercial Furnishings and Appliances NAICS Code: 811412 Appliance Repair and Maintenance Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking to acquire preventative maintenance and inspection of all plant laundry equipment for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center Laundry Plant located at 5600 Dickman Road, Bldg. #145, Battle Creek, MI 49037. Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance as specified within all updated manufacturer specifications and requirements for the listed inventory to include all labor, equipment, tools and PM supplies. Technicians shall have OEM manufacture certified training, and applicable licensing, to perform required preventative maintenance. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete preventive maintenance. The VA anticipates awarding a firm, fixed price contract for a base year and four (4) one (1) year options for a total of five (5) years of service, if all options are exercised. The Government anticipates release of the RFQ to be July 8, 2020 with a due date of July 16, 2020. Questions must be submitted in written form via e-mail to the Contracting Officer no later than 12:00 pm EDT July 14, 2020.
