The Laboratory is interested in purchasing a Multi-photon Microscope system (for 2- and 3-Photon imaging) for real-time imaging of fluorescent samples, built on a confocal microscope platform. The Microscope must be able to image live animals (for 2- and 3-Photon imaging), during both awake and anesthetized measurements of electro-physiological activity and while performing motor tasks. The leading application is brain tissue response to injury or device implantation.
