PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Contractor shall provide all needed labor, materials, replace the Air-conditioning system in building 5 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System –Fort Wayne Campus located at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. SPECIFIC: To include: Removal and proper disposal of existing 5-ton condensing unit Provide and install stage air-conditioner with low ambient control. Provide and install 4-ton variable speed air-handling unit Make all wiring connections Create separate zoning for first and second floor Perform start-up and check system for leaks and ensure proper operation Contractor is to remove all trash and debris from campus in a proper manner. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. with a standard size of $16.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue an IFB on or about 31 August 2020 via https://uscontractorregistration.com/search-federal-contracts/. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
