Page 2 of 2 Page 2 of 2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610-20-503 Replace Water Softeners, Bldg 185: It is the intention of the Northern IN VA Healthcare System (Marion Campus) to solicit bids for the following: The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary to accomplish all work set forth in the contract and Statement of Work. Work shall include: Removal of Two (2) old water softeners and installation of Two (2) new 36 diameter resin tanks (Fiber Glass) water softeners. This will also include the preparation and installation of a new concrete pad, 4 x4 concrete curbs with reinforcement, all electrical components and new plumbing. All items being removed are to be disposed of by the contractor. All above work to be done in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating and HVAC Contractors with a standard size of $16.5M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, and Statement of Work provided. The VA will issue an IFB on 26 March 2020 via Beta.SAM.gov. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, and the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
