SOURCES SOUGHT Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, Department of Veterans Affairs, Dayton, OH, is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a Knee, Hip, and Shoulder Arthroscopy Simulator. ARTHROSCOPY SMULATOR REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS: The new Knee, Hip, and Shoulder Arthroscopy Simulator shall meet the following minimum technical requirements: Realistic 3D anatomical modeling with both normal anatomy and abnormalities of Knee, Hip, and Shoulder High fidelity force feedback devices Realistic interaction with joints simulating an operating environment Comprehensive task and case curriculum with increasing levels of difficulty including basic skills, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to train to proficiency This shall include the following training module capabilities: Shoulder labral repair Hip diagnostic Knee meniscal repair 2-years of hardware warranty, technical support, and software upgrades One day of on-site training at the time of installation This product is considered all or none. The result of this market research will contribute in determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement in 339112. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary, the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide the requested items above, please provide the following information: 1) Documentation of the manufacturer of the arthroscopy simulator; and 3) Documentation and/or specification sheets for the arthroscopy simulator. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submission. Submission instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to provide the requested arthroscopy simulator are invited to submit a response to the Sources Sought Notice no later than Friday, 30 August 2019, at 4:00PM EST.
