Quotes will not ... The purpose of this Pre-Solicitation Notice is to inform the public that an RFQ (Request for Quote) Solicitation will be posted NLT 01/31/2020. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice Only. Quotes will not be accepted at this time. No questions shall be answered. No phone calls shall be received. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite 2200, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, intends to post a solicitation for Armored Car Transportation Services for the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center located at 2215 Fuller Road in Ann Arbor, MI 48105, NLT 01/31/2020. The period of performance shall be Base Year 04/01/2020-03/31/2021 and for Four (4) One (1) Year Options 04/01/2021-03/31/2025 in strict accordance with terms, conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation, NAICS Code 561613. STATEMENT OF WORK SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, and equipment to perform daily bank runs for the Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Medical Center, from two locations: Ann Arbor VA Medical Center located at 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 Veterans Affairs Toledo Outpatient Clinic located at 1200 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo Ohio 43614. CONFORMANCE STANDARDS The Armored Car personnel shall: Sign the cashiers' shipment log upon pick up of locked bag. Maintain their own log book of all shipments delivered to each facility, cashiers will verify and sign. Currency orders picked up on one day will be delivered to the facility the following day. Ill. HOURS OF WORK Hours of work for armored care service shall be once per day, Monday-Friday, between 9am and 2pm, excluding Federal holidays or as otherwise arranged with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The ten holidays observed by the Federal Government are New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Also, any other day declared by the President of the United States to be a national holiday. PICK-UP AND DELIVER POINTS A. The Contractor shall enter the buildings using the closest entrance to the area designed for pick-up/delivery to avoid undue exposure to the VA patient/employee/visitor population. This shall apply to each designated pick-up/delivery point even if it requires moving the armored car from one area of the same building to another. B. Contractor shall pick up and deliver money and/or negotiable items at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center located at 2215 Fuller Road in Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105. C. Pick up at the following locations: VA Agent Cashier, Room C-118, Building 1E Canteen Service, Room C-303, Building 1W D. Contractor shall deliver money and/or negotiable items to and pick up money from, PNC Bank located at 1351 Spruce Street in Detroit, Michigan 48201. E. Contractor shall pick up and deliver money and/or negotiable items at the Toledo Outpatient Clinic located at 1200 South Detroit Avenue in Toledo, Ohio 43614. Pick up at the following location: 1st floor, by the entrance, main lobby at Starbucks Contractor shall deliver money and/or negotiable items to and pick up money from, PNC Bank located at 2675 S. Detroit Avenue in Maumee, Ohio 43537. V. MAXIMUM BONDING REQUIREMENTS Contractor personnel shall be responsible for Government funds up to $100,000 per run.
