This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation RFQ-36C250-19-Q-1067 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 336211 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. STATEMENT OF NEED Shuttle Buses C.0. SCOPE: The VA Northern Indiana Health care system (Marion, IN) has a need for five electric vehicles that will be used to transport Veterans from the parking lots to the facility at both the Marion and Fort Wayne campuses. These electric vehicles shall have the following specifications: All vehicles shall have the following: Shall be white in color Shall have maintenance free batteries Shall have both air-conditioning or fan and heater Shall have seat belts for passengers and driver Shall have headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals Shall have horn and audible reverse indicator Shall have on-board battery chargers The Bus shall have the following: Shall be wheelchair accessible Shall have wheelchair securing mechanism Shall have interior lighting Shall have a minimum passenger capacity of 11 a. Provide five shuttle buses within 30 days of award. The proposed contract listed here is Set-aside 100% for Veteran Owned Small Business. FOB destination.
