The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, VA Healthcare System has determined that it is in the best interest of the government to award to Johnson Controls, Inc. They are located at 5757 N Green Bay Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53209. Services will be performed by Local Johnson Controls Office. They are located at 835 Green Crest Drive, Westerville, OH 43081-2838. This is a sole source procurement per there only being one source per FAR 8.405-6 (a) (1)) (i) (B); The contractor has proprietary rights being the original manufacturer (OEM) of the METASYS Building Automation System equipment. Only the original equipment manufacturer can upgrade the existing system utilizing the existing equipment, components, and infrastructure. The items are available on FSS Schedule GS-06F-0060P. Manufacturer does not have any authorized vendors or field technicians to provide competition. Services will be performed to provide preventive maintenance service on METASYS software and servers. Award will be processed to cover timespan date of award from (base): 02/01/19 thru 01/31/20; (oyc1) 02/01/20 thru 01/31/21; (oyc2): 02/01/21 thru 01/31/22; (oyc3): 02/02/22 thru 01/31/23; and (oyc4): 02/01/23 thru 01/31/24.
