Responses to this SS will be used by the Government for acquisition planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought request. This notice shall not be constructed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. SS Notice is being conducted for market research purposes by the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 Contracting, 3140 Governor’s Place Blvd, Kettering, OH 94614 to identify sources that are capable of providing Emergency Shelter Bed Services to Veteran beneficiaries of the Aleda E. Lutz Medical Center, located at 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 624221 Temporary Shelters. Small Business Size Standard is $12M. Planned Period of Performance will be one year from date of award, plus 4 option years. Emergency Shelter Facility and Services must meet the following requirements: Facility must be located within the catchment area of Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, in Saginaw, MI. The catchment area include the following counties: Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Charlevoix, Antrim, Otsego, Montmorency, Alpena, Leelanau, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Crawford, Oscoda, Roscommon, Ogemaw, Alcona, Iosco, Osceola, Clare, Gladwin, Arenac, Bay, Midland, Isabella, Gratiot, Saginaw, Genesee, Lapeer, Tuscola, Huron, Shiawassee, Wexford, Manistee, and Missaukee. Facility must be capable of supporting male and female population. This includes separate and secure sleeping and bathroom space for male and female occupants. In addition, facility must be able to accommodate a family. Facility must have laundry facilities and products. Provide services for a minimum of 730 and a maximum of 4,380 bed days of care per year. Provide three nutritionally adequate meals a day, seven days a week, and nutritious snacks between meals and bedtime. Provide Therapeutics and Rehabilitative Services. Provide Transportation assistance to scheduled meetings and appointments.
