The Boise VA Medical Center oversees eight leased facilities located throughout Idaho and Oregon that require electrical upgrades to the Information Technology (IT) closets in order to comply with the new EHRM requirements. This project includes work at 8 different leased locations managed by the Boise VA Medical Center. The leases are located in Hines, Oregon; 3 in Boise Idaho, Mountain Home, Idaho, 2 in Twin Falls and Salmon, Idaho. Each location will be bid as a separate line item, but the contract will be awarded based on the overall cost of the combined line items. The work to be done in each location is generally similar. The general scope of work includes installation of an electronic door locks and card readers on doors to IT closets. Installation of a new 120V, 20 amp outlet in the IT closet on a dedicated circuit from an electrical panel. Installation of a ground bar in the IT closet if one does not exist, and connection of the ground bar to the building ground and to the IT rack. Contractor shall be responsible for the project coordination and all materials, services, and transportation cost to complete the projects within 90 days from date of award.
