Q519--Research Support Psychological Assessment for PTSD Clinical Trial
The VA is conducting market research only—not a solicitation—to determine small- and large-business availability and capability for independent psychological assessment services supporting a multi-site PTSD clinical trial comparing group versus individual Written Exposure Therapy. Contractors must provide master’s- or doctoral-level clinicians trained in CAPS-5 and MINI administration, working remotely via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing and Box, with PhD-level psychologist oversight, quality assurance/fidelity monitoring, and human-subjects compliance. Anticipated effort is about 414 assessments: 150 baseline CAPS-5/MINI, 128 post-treatment CAPS-5, and 128 three-month follow-up CAPS-5. Interested firms should submit a capability statement of up to five pages covering company information, socioeconomic/NAICS status, relevant PTSD/multi-site/federal/Veteran assessment experience, CAPS-5/MINI administration, QA/fidelity procedures, staffing, recommended NAICS code, and existing contract vehicles. Performance is remote, and the government is considering NAICS 621330 and 541990.
