The Department of Veterans Affairs, Boston Health Care System/Jamaica Plain Medical Center anticipate to award four-year contract for services of a co-investigator and physical therapist for Dr. Sparrow s VA Rehabilitation Research and Development project: Telemedicine intervention in patients with chronic pain in Parkinson s Disease (IRB #1690596). Task include working closely with Dr. Sparrow and other co-investigators to oversee the home-based bike exercise intervention. The home-based bike intervention is a critical component of the research project to investigate whether this type of physical exercise can reduce pain in patients with Parkinson s disease (PD) who have chronic pain. This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 541715. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue this RFP. Potential contractors may submit a capability statement to the contracting office than no later than Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 12:00 PM EST. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
