The Department of Veterans Affairs, Atlanta VA Health Care System in support of VA research needs equipment that will support research on intra- and extracellular miRNAs and their roles as potential biomarkers for disease states and outcomes. The equipment needs to analyze miR profiles of blood samples with higher sensitivity as well as give absolute values in each sample without the need for a separate standard curve. The equipment also needs to be compatible with all Qiagen microRNA assays currently in use in the laboratory for data continuity. The Atlanta VA HCS requires the purchase of a Qiagen QIAcuity 2plex Platform System to include: Line Item No. Quantity Part No. Description 1 1 911016 QIAcuity One 2plex Platform System FUL 2 This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 334516. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue this RFQ as a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with VAAR Clause 852.211-73 on eBuy or Fed Biz Ops. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement and who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller of all the items listed above, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office than no later than Tuesday, September 21, 2021, 4:00 PM EDT.
