The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources who can provide this specific BRAND NAME ONLY equipment - CryoStar NX70 Cryostat With Vacutome WithLow-Profile Blade Carrier. BACKGROUND: The San Diego VA Medical Center currently uses the Cryostat equipment but it is 20 years old and needs to be replaced for an upcoming VA research study, Development of 3D Printed Synthetic Bone Graft Containing Small Molecules for Sequential Activation of Hedgehog and Hypoxia involve cryostat sectioning of bone for immunohistochemistry and fluorescence detection. The NX70 cryostar is the only cryostat available with adjustable height, Vacutome and Peltier included. The NX70 cryostat will also meet the ergonomic demands to adjust height for different technician use. Technician s can use the machine adjustable to their specific needs. This ergonomically relieves the stress on the back when using the machine for several hours. The NX70 is the only cryostat available with adjustable height which is required by the VA and thus no other products will be considered. INSTRUCTIONS TO INTERESTED VENDORS: If you are interested and capable of providing the required services, please provide the requested information as indicated below. 1. Provide a statement that you can provide the BRAND NAME ONLY CryoStar NX70 Cryostat With Vacutome With Low-Profile Blade Carrier. 2. Provide your business DUNS # and size from one of the following?
