The San Diego VA requires a live cell imager that will allow VA Researchers enhanced image analysis of ongoing research samples, brand name or equal to the CYTATION5 CELL IMAGING MULTIMODE READER (part # CYT5MPW), Gen5 Software and components. The machine should have the following, salient characteristics: Must include Cytation 5 illumination capability for 6-well to 384- well cell microplates microplates, slides, Petri dishes and cell culture flasks. Must have a Wide FOV camera with fluorescence, brightfield, phase contrast and color brightfield imaging. Must work for monochromator fluorescence, monochromator UV and Visible spectrum absorbance, time resolved fluorescence and luminescence. Must have capability to independently maintain specimen temperature to 65 degrees C. Must include orbital and double-orbital shaking. Imaging system must be greater or equal to Gen5 Image Prime Software with: Imaging control for Lionheart FX Automated Live Cell Imager Imaging control for Cytation Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Readers. z-projection image stitching hit-picking digital phase contrast secondary mask dynamic thresholding subpopulation analysis Filters must include: Texas red, 590nm DAPI, 365nm GFP (or CFP, ACR OR,CFP-YFP FRET, Chlorophyll, Phycoerythrin), 465nm Objectives must include: 4x phase objective, Plan Fluorite, WD 17 NA 0.13 10x phase objective, Plan Fluorite, WD 10 NA 0.3 20x phase objective, Plan Fluorite, WD 6.7 NA 0.45 Laser auto focus Joystick accessory Isolation table, standard for use with Cytation 'V' configurations. Installation and training of users Ph.D. level Consultant plan 12-month warranty This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 334516 Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue an RFQ. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, August 14, 2020, 4:00PM, EST.
