The San Diego VA requires (2) veterinary anesthesia machines, BRAND NAME or EQUAL to the Mindray A5 Anesthesia Machine, to include: (2) O2 Sensor and Accessories Kit with Software, (2) Lithium Ion batteries and (2) Penlon Sigma Delta ISO Selectatec VAP : Pour Fill The machine should have the following, salient characteristics: Microprocessor controlled Bellows Ventilator. Ventilation modes include: VCV, PCV with Volume Guarantee, CPAP/Pressure Support, SIMV-VC, SIMV-PC and CPAP/PS. Auxiliary O2/Air flow meters that deliver blended gas. High pressure O2 port for jet ventilation. Warmed breathing system The CO2 absorber can be changed during ventilation without interruption. Waste gas scavenger system. Must have color touchscreen monitor with remote touchpad. Has these monitor waveforms: 3 OR 5 LEAD ECG SPO2 (MASIMO) NIBP 2 IBP RESPIRATION TEMPERATURE Must be easy to move and transport. Must have at least 2-hour battery back-up. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 339112. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue an RFQ. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, August 14, 2020, 4:00PM, EST.
