The Department of Veterans Affairs, Cooperative Studies Program, Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center (CSP CRPCC) is seeking topical drug manufacturers able to formulate, package, and provide three unique creams for use in a clinical trial. The products are: 5% 5-Flourouracil cream, 5% Imiquimod cream and a placebo cream. Desired packaging for the study is 30-gram tubes, foil packets, or sachets as long as final packages are identical and are suitable for use in a blinded clinical trial. All formulations will need to match in color, consistency, odor, and be packaged without labels for use in a blinded clinical trial. Products must tested by supplier and meet USP requirements, with an expiration date of not less than one year from date of receipt by CSP CRPCC. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the VA no later than Monday 6/4/19 at 12 PM, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to David Older at david.older@va.gov and should include company name, address, point of contact, business size, SDVOSB/VOSB status, and description of whether the vendor can fulfill task A & B. This notice is to assist the Government in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
