The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center seeks on-site Medical Physicist services for eligible VA beneficiaries. The current need is primarily vacation coverage, but it may change over the contract term to include full-time on-site coverage. The contractor must adhere to VHA Radiation Oncology accreditation requirements and the policies, practice standards, quality, safety, and improvement guidelines of ACR, ASTRO, and AAPM. Services will be performed on site in the Radiation Oncology Service at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Corner of Lamont & Veterans Way, Mountain Home, TN 37684. The base period of performance is October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.
