Sources Sought Notice Page 4 of 4 *= Required Field Sources Sought Notice Page 1 of 4 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) posts this Sources Sought Notice (SSN) on behalf of Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 9, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9, as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement detailed below. Otherwise, the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302. This Sources Sought will utilize North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811210, Medical and Surgical Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services with a small business size standard of $34 million, and Product Service Code of J065, Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment, Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for bids, proposals, or quotes; submission of any information in response to this request for information is purely voluntary; and the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Requirement: Seeking Midmark Corporation Preferred Partners and Trained Delivery teams with documented experience in project management, pre-delivery site survey, pre-delivery setup, delivering, de-installing, installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and basic user operating instruction of Midmark exam tables/chairs to Midmark standards. Requirement is for service within VISN9 coverage, which includes the main facilities and outpatient clinics. - https://department.va.gov/integrated-service-networks/visn-09/ Service to be provided within normal business hours and days with potential consideration for weekend, holiday, and after-hours work on an as-needed basis covering an ordering period of five years. Equipment purchase is NOT a part of this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Vendors with capability to meet the above requirement please respond with: Organization name, address, point of contact, email address, web site address, and telephone number. Business size: small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), veteran owned small business (VOSB), large business, etc. Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide this type of service. Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability. Please detail what services are available and unavailable. Response to this SSN shall not exceed 10 pages and should include all of the previously mentioned information. In addition, all submissions should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Hardcopies will not be accepted. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to: Provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. Secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements. Implement a successful plan that includes compliance with program schedules; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance. Provide services under a firm-fixed-price contract. NOTE: At the time of submission, respondents claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status shall be registered SAM.GOV and certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) at https://search.certifications.sba.gov/. Based on the responses to this SSN/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for SDVOSBs, VOSBs, small businesses, procured unrestricted full and open competition, or sole sourced. In the event that no response is received from interested and capable parties, the government will proceed with a sole source firm-fixed price contract direct to Midmark Corporation. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to provide products and perform services are invited to submit a response to this SSN by the due date and time on the cover page of this notice. All responses under this SSN must be emailed to sascha.hertslet@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
