Answer 1: No, this solicitation does not include wheelchair services. Please see PWS for full details. Question 2: On Sam.gov it states this bid is due today 3/7/2025 at 3pm CST. However, the SF1449 Box 8 states offer is due 3/13/2025 at 1500 CST. I just want to affirm that the latter is correct. Answer 2: Block #8 of the SF1449 is the correct due date. Question 3: CLIN 008 It currently is asking for Mileage Trip Outside of the base rate (after first 30 miles). Shouldn't this be corrected to simply ask for per mile mileage charge? Reviewing this original solicitation for this contract from 5 years ago. CLIN 008 was for mileage and did not have the (after first 30 miles). As we would need to be able to bill for all of our mileage for each trip. Answer 3: This LINE ITEM is for mileage after the original 30 miles.

Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center (hereafter Memphis VA Medical Center), its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and affiliated healthcare clinics require contracted non-emergency ambulance transportation services. Occasionally a veteran will need to be transported with VA staff and equipment; the contractor shall return VA Staff and equipment to the original place of pick-up. Transport of Miscellaneous Items with the Patient The Contractor may also be required to transport patient luggage, medical records, medication, and comfort items from pickup points to destination at no additional cost to the Government. Luggage to be transported will be restricted to suitcase and valise types. When patients are transported to the VA Memphis VA Medical Center, destination is deemed to be the ER, Admissions, the clinic, or service within the hospital, or directly to the ward as instructed by VA Staff. Transportation Request 4.5.1 VetRide or VA-Approved Transportation Software Utilization: The contractor agrees to utilize the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-Approved Transportation Software with every patient transported under this contract. Department of Veteran Affairs will provide the software and access to the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-Approved Transportation Software for the vendor/contractor in this contract.
