A qualified radiation oncologist is a person who is certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) of a physician who confines his/her professional practice to radiation oncology or certification in Radiation Oncology or Therapeutic Radiology by the ABR, the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
