Page 4 of 4 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, is preparing to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for: REQUIREMENT: Uniform Supply & Laundering Services- Lexington VA Healthcare System NAICS: 812332 Industrial Launderers SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $47 Million SOLICITATION: The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on or about August 26, 2024 WEBSITE: SAM.gov Contract Opportunities https://sam.gov/content/opportunities SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business Set aside DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide serviceable uniforms which consist of initial fittings and measurements 15 days after award of contract and/or each time a new employee is hired. The contractor shall launder and maintain uniforms, throughout the life of the contract. The contractor shall pick up, clean, and deliver uniforms on a weekly basis. The contractor shall be responsible to make sure all employees uniforms are tracked/labeled such that employee A gets employees A s uniforms, and no other employee s uniforms. The contractor shall issue 11 sets of uniforms per employee.
