The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 09, hereby provides notice of its intent to sole source a six-month option against the firm-fixed price contract 36C24923P0925 for the products/services listed below to a large business, Censis Technologies, Inc. (Censis), headquarters out of Franklin, Tennessee (TN). The option is expected to be awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). A Sole Source Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared is attached. The anticipated award date is no later than 8/31/2024 to ensure no break in continuous service from Censis. This solution is intended to help VISN 9 sterile processing departments continue to maximize the use of the Censis Technologies Censitrac Instrument Tracking System, which is currently deployed at all VISN 9 medical centers. Products/Services: [MFR P/N: SUT301R] Renewal Subscription InstrumenTrac an electronic tracking and data management system for surgical instruments. The purpose of this web-based application is to provide information on the history and utilization of surgical instruments. CensiTrac InstrumenTrac can be hosted either in the Cloud or on-premise. [MFR P/N: MSGLO1b] Renewal Subscription Service+ consisting of clinic assessment based on an onsite visit with a week of training and free Censis Technology Users Conference (CtUC) tickets. [MFR P/N: CSGOV] Renewal Subscription Censitrac GOV Cloud Server A backup measure to use an off-site server managed by Censis Technologies in the event the VA s primary server fails. [MFR P/N: SUBST02R] Renewal Subscription ScopeTrac Stand Advanced - ScopeTrac Advanced can interface with the hospital s electronic scheduling system to create a prioritized list of scopes required for upcoming procedures. Provide information for any options included in the order. Estimated Cost for this 6-months of service is less than the simplified acquisition threshold. No options will be considered. Period of Performance: 9/01/2024 through 2/28/2025 PSC: 7A21, IT & Telecom, Business Application Software (Perpetual License Software) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement and may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation (as appropriate) that the agency shall consider within the given closing/due date of this notice, and to the POC listed on this notice. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor including a subcontractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award and must submit a current authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer if not a manufacturer. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
