SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research and identify companies who may be able to provide the required services. This will help determine whether the procurement can be set-aside as we seek to set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or other Small Businesses. Interested parties should respond to this Sources Sought Notice by providing a copy of the company s capability statement, and evidence of the company s business size for the NAICS Code 621111. Interested SDVOSB and VOSB providers should provide evidence of their Veteran Certification with the Small Business Administration (SBA). DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The Contractor shall furnish all 1.187 FTE personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite Neurology Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as VAMC). The Contractor s physician (s) care shall cover the range of Neurology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American College of Physicians- Internal Medicine http://www.acponline.org/clinical_information/guidelines/ and American College of Neurology Guidelines: http://gi.org/clinical-guidelines/. The Contractor shall propose a minimum of four (4) key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract. Contractors Neurology physicians must be board certified or eligible for certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in Neurology. All continuing education required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times. One FTE is defined by VA as a minimum of 80 hours every two weeks and does not include holidays. The Contractor shall furnish contract Neurology Physician coverage when the VA staff is on leave or unavailable. This shall ensure coverage 24 hours per day 7 days per week, 365 days a year.
