The Alvin C. York VA Medical Center 3400 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 has a requirement to Renovate Ward 1B Project 626A4-19-101. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to completely prepare site for building operations including demolition and removal of existing structures and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Renovate Ward 1B as required by the drawings and specifications at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, 3400 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The period of performance for this project is 425 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45M. The estimated range of construction is Between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. This requirement will be procured by way of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-1 Tradeoff selection process. The evaluation factors and sub-factors under consideration for this requirement will be available upon the solicitation release, which is anticipated to be on or about June 20, 2023. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C §8127 (d). Only those SDVOSB s listed and viewable in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database located at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov). The VetCert database will be checked at the time of bid submission as well as prior to award. All bidders must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The awarded contractor must also submit evidence of enrollment with VETS4212. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to any award being made.
