In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and VAAR 819.70/38 U.S.C. 8127-8128 on behalf of the Memphis VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with The Janz Corporation (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) located at 275 Outerbelt Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213-1529. The rationale basis for the sole source acquisition is that The Janz Corporation is the only responsible source that can provide the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for Hill-Rom Company, Inc. The equipment for this requirement is as follows: PROP7520A21 PROGRESSA MATTRESS: Full Pulmonary Dartex 18 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received by the deadline specified in this notice, in accordance with FAR 5.203, will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
