Presolicitation Notice Page 5 of 5 Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 5 The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) Lamont and Veterans Way, Mountain Home, TN 37684 has a requirement to Install Sterile Processing Supply (SPS) Water Filtration System - Project 621-23-126. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to accomplish the work for Project 621-23-126 - Install SPS Water Filtration System in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The scope of work for this project will involve construction services that include, at a minimum, the demolition and restoration of a HAC closet, and the installation and tie-in of the VERDA SPS Water Filtration System to create a fully functional SPS Water Filtration System to feed the current capacity of the SPS facility that meets all current codes and standards. This will also include commissioning of the equipment and complete cleanup of site at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center located at Mountain Home, TN. The period of performance for this project is 120 calendar-days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45M. The estimated range of construction is Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This requirement will be procured per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14.101 - Sealed Bidding. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or around May 19, 2023 and close on or around June 20, 2023. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C §8127 (d). Only those SDVOSB s listed and viewable in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database located at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov). The VetCert database will be checked at the time of bid submission as well as prior to award. All bidders must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The awarded contractor must also submit evidence of enrollment with VETS4212. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to any award being made.
