The Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky has a requirement for Renovation of Pathology Lab in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Specifications and Drawings to be provided upon the posting of the solicitation. Work includes the renovation of the Third Floor Pathology Lab located in the Medical Center campus of Robley Rex VA Medical Center. The project renovates approximately 1,500 SF of space to accommodate a new laboratory equipment and modernize limited areas within the lab. The project replaces finishes, light fixtures, ceiling grids, acoustical panels, metal casework, casework mounted sink, doors and frames affected by equipment replacement. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for RENOVATE PATHOLOGY as required by drawings and specifications. The hospital will remain operational during this work. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $39.5M. The estimated range of construction is Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101 Best value continuum.
