THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, located at 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 400, Murfreesboro, TN, 37129, anticipates issuing a solicitation Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 10/12/2022 to request proposals for an anticipated requirement that will result in a Single Award of a Contract consisting of a Base Option and Four (4) Options Periods of One (1) Year each to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Performance begins upon award for approximately five years to provide the services of an Onsite Board Certified Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology at the Memphis VA Medical Center. SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business (SB) NAICS Code: 621111 Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) SBA SIZE STANDARD: $14.0 Million PSC: Q527 DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish all personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite services of a Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memphis (hereinafter referred to as VAMC). The contractor s physicist(s) care shall cover the range of Radiation Oncology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards. All VHA Radiation Oncology Services are accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting body contracted through the National Radiation Oncology Program (NROP). As such any Contractor providing on-site radiation oncology services must adhere to all the policies and procedures; practice standards, guidelines, patient care operations; patient safety; quality assurance and quality management of radiotherapy planning, equipment, and delivery; and continuous quality improvement initiatives promulgated by the American College of Radiology, American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Association for Physicist in Medicine.
