Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use: Caliber Imaging and Diagnostics reflectance confocal microscopy system, the VivaScope 1500 with an add-on of the VivaScope 3000 head, for hand-held video-rate imaging of the epidermis and upper dermis. The system includes VivaCam, PC, Display, Software and Cart. Shipping, two days of onsite training and installation, warranty, and adequate materials (windows) for use are included. Currently the Vivascope 1500 & 3000 systems seems to be the only noninvasive microscopic skin imaging systems that is FDA-approved, that meet the CMS standards for patient care, and enable simultaneous hand-held video-rate imaging and mosaicking of images to visualize larger areas of the tissue. This solicitation is an Open Market Solicitation for any contractors in the United States who can provide the above “Name Brand,” products, or a similar item that can perform at the same level and at a Fair & Reasonable price to the government.
