Answer: References from previous window washing jobs may be checked. This will be a twice-yearly maintenance contract and will not require service calls or extra visits. What do you deem as "proof of window washing qualifications"? Answer: Possible reference checks. When reading over the statement of work, there was no mention that we need to be able to respond within 2 hours of contact from the VA for emergency service. The statement of work stated that we need to be available 2 times per year for window cleaning. So, should we now plan on being sort of "on-call" for VA for emergencies? What type of emergencies do you foresee? Answer: The Statement of work is correct. This will be a twice-yearly maintenance contract and will not require service calls or extra visits. It is twice a year scheduled maintenance? Answer: Yes, twice a year. I noticed there were some windows especially at the hospital that are not accessible from the ground level. Will you allow a lift onsite to manage windows that are not accessible? Answer: We will allow lifts, but they are not supplied by the facility. I am requesting incumbent pricing. Answer: There is no incumbent pricing at this point. When was the last cleaning done? Answer: We don t know. It has been more than 10 years, but we really have no idea. Can we use lifts? Answer: You can use your own lifts. Can you please update the price schedule with the all the building to be included in the bid. Answer: Yes Can water fed poles be use? Answer: Yes Can we use boom lift in the property for building with more than 2 stories? Answer: You can use your own lifts. Will the screen be removed before the work start (if there is any) if not are we obligated to remove them?              Answer: I can t think of a situation where this applies but in the off chance this situation is ran in Into, it would be the contractor s responsibility.
