The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for bids, proposals, or quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; and the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Statement of Work Wheelchair Tilt Device Purpose: Robley Rex VAMC is requesting one wheelchair tilt device for the Dental Clinic that will allow the patient to remain in their wheelchair or electric mobility device and be tilted back for a dental procedure. This equipment must be able to be easily transported from room to room and be able to fold for storage. The system must have the following capabilities: Minimum lifting capacity of 750 pounds (lbs.) Able to allow a wheelchair-bound patient to be tilted in their wheelchair for dental procedure Fully electric, no manual handling Battery backup Safety Anti-pinch shut off switches Headrest that articulates and is height adjustable Easily cleaned with hospital approved disinfectants Ability to be stored when not in use Handheld control Removable wheels for transport Reclines to 3 positions Capable of moving in tight spaces, i.e., through standard doorways, and on a variety of different types of surfaces. Able to be utilized where overhead lifts cannot be used, due to obstacles in the ceiling Able to be utilized where mobile lifts cannot be used, due to space restrictions in the room This request is for the brand name or equal to the Versatilt Essential Portable.
