This will involve renting and setting up a fully functional onsite mobile SPS facility (see Steris Truck spec as reference), removal of all the SPS equipment and other equipment in the SPS area, removal of all equipment from scope room, storage of the equipment, demolition, and removal of old flooring, installing the new flooring in SPS area and scope room area, reinstalling the SPS equipment, commissioning of the equipment, and removal of the mobile SPS facility, and complete cleanup of site. This solicitation amendment will provide a Government answer to an Industry question.

Quillen VAMC, Lamont Street and Veterans Way, Mtn. Home, TN 37684. SET-ASIDE: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS: 238330 Flooring Contractors SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $16.5 Million This requirement will be procured per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14.101 - Sealed Bidding. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about March 31, 2022, and close on or about May 4, 2022. PROJECT OVERVIEW: The project will require the selected contractor to provide all resources necessary to accomplish the complete demolition and removal of the current tile flooring and the installation of a new epoxy floor in the Sterile Processing Supply (SPS) area, used to sterilize medical equipment for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN 37684 for the above-mentioned project 621-22-124 - Replace SPS Flooring. Anticipated completion time from Notice-to-Proceed is 225 calendar days for the base bid. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C §8127 (d). Only those SDVOSB s listed and viewable in the Center for Verification & Evaluation (CVE) database located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. The CVE database will be checked at the time of bid submission as well as prior to award. All bidders must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The awarded contractor must also submit evidence of enrollment with VETS4212.
