The Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky has a requirement for a roofing contractor to Replace Roofs Phase I, Buildings 1 and 12 in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Specifications and Drawings to be provided upon the posting of the solicitation. Work includes but is not limited to identifying qualified firms capable of performing Roofing/Construction services. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing roofs, and installation of new roofs as required by drawings and specifications. The hospital will remain operational during this work. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $39.5M. The estimated range of construction is Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-2 Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
