Project 603-20-201, Mobile Trailer for SPS The Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky has a requirement that will support the SPS Prep and Decontamination HVAC Remodel project. The purpose of this requirement is to maintain Sterile Processing Services (SPS) that support vital hospital functions, RME services for surgery, dentistry, outpatient clinics and inpatient care. During the remodeling process of SPS, the department must be shut down. This will result in the stoppage of all sterile processing activity performed within the hospital area. To continue support, the hospital, SPS requires a facility of some type to temporarily replace the in hospital processing area. The proposed facility must meet VA NPOSP and all current standards . The Robley Rex VA Medical center by way of Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to sole source a requirement to The Steris Corporation in order to fulfill this requirement.
