The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 221122 and size standard is 1,000. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: This requirement is for an Annual Load Bank Test 1.0.1 Objectives and Description of Work Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, material, incidentals and expert supervision needed to: perform the Tri-annual 4 hour load bank test on five (5) emergency diesel generators, EE20525-Model Caterpillar # 3406, 208 volt, located in building 1., EE22819-Model Caterpillar # 3412, 208 volt, located in building 1, EE25888 Model Cummins # VTA-28-G5, 480 volt, located in building 1. EE74012-Model - Kohler # 150REDZJF, 208 volt, located in building 24, and EE16188- Model - Kohler # 125ROZJ81, 208 volt, located in building 6. 1.0.2 Work Location Generators are located at 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville KY, Generators located in Building 1: EE20525-Model Caterpillar # 3406, 208 volt, EE22819-Model - Caterpillar # 3412, 208 volt, EE25888 Model Cummins # VTA-28-G5, 480 volt. A Generator at building 24: EE74012-Model - Kohler # 150REDZJF and a Generator in building 6, room 102C-6: EE16188- Model - Kohler # 125ROZJ81, 208 volt. 1.0.3 Project Work Tasks/Description or Work 1.0.3.1 The test shall consist of a total of 1.5 hour test on each generator: 30 minutes at 50% of nameplate rating load, and 60 minutes at 75% of nameplate rating load. 1.0.3.2 Each generator shall be connected with 4/0 cables rated at 400 amps each with cam-lock for connecting the load bank and secured to the lugs on the generator. The contractor shall include the type of Load Bank they intend to use in their quote. Connections shall be checked by VA Electrician prior to initiating the test. 1.0.3.3 Upon completion of the load bank test, the generator and bank shall be cooled down before securing and disconnecting the load bank. Anticipated period of performance: July 2021 to be completed within 30 days. Experience: Contractor shall have a minimum one year experience with performing generator load bank testing. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc.,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
