The Lexington VA Medical Center located in Lexington, Kentucky has a requirement for a healthcare construction contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment and expert supervision needed to construct a Community Living Center, Phase 2 in accordance with the project statement of work, specifications and drawings. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this procurement action. The small business size standard is $39.5M. The product service code (PSC) is Y1DA. The estimated range of construction is more than $10,000,000.00. Seeking experience contractors in healthcare construction, with past performance project magnitudes of $6,000,000.00 and greater in new construction. $3,000,000.00 and upwards in alteration, repair, and/or renovation of completed projects over the past 5 years. Experience with coordination of multiple trades working in a hospital environment during normal business operations. Care must be taken to ensure ICRA measures are continually in place. Interested parties should submit a statement of capability listing experience in new construction, renovation or addition of projects in the project magnitudes as described above. Statements of capability should accompany information on bonding capacity. This is not a formal request for proposal.
