The contractor shall provide Board Certified Onsite Angio-Interventional Radiology Physician Services in accordance with the specifications contained herein to the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Memphis VAMC. The contractor shall provide the services of Angio-Interventional coverage during the absences of the full-time staff VAMC radiologist. The contractor shall perform, and report examinations done in the Angio-Interventional section of Radiology Service. Services shall be provided primarily between the hours 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The contractor shall cover vacation period of VA employed radiologist (approximately 5 weeks). The contractor shall work daily 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. The contractor shall provide on-call weeknights, weekends, and holidays. The contractor shall perform and interpret emergency specialized procedures after normal working hours that require the expertise speciality of a radiologist. All procedures performed shall be completed, dictated within 24 hours of the procedcure, and have a signed/verfied report for each requested procedure. Reports shall be verfied within 48 hours of completion of procedure. The contractor's employee's must be present at the VA facility and must actually be performing the required services for the period specified in the contract to receive payment for billable hours.
